The neighbourhood

The Neighborhood: Central Hollywood
Villa Coral sits in a quiet, established residential pocket of central Hollywood — tree-shaded streets, single-family homes, and the kind of neighborhood where you can hear birds in the morning and crickets at night. It's the kind of place that doesn't show up on most travel guides, which is exactly the point: you get a real South Florida home base without the noise and density of the tourist strips.
Despite the quiet, you're remarkably close to nearly everything that brings people to Hollywood.
Within 10 minutes by car:
• Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood and the Guitar Hotel — casino, Hard Rock Live concerts, restaurants, DAER nightclub, the iconic pool lagoon (~7 min)
• T.Y. Park — 150 acres of lakes, walking trails, and one of the prettiest local picnic spots (~5 min)
• Memorial Regional Hospital — full-service hospital, useful to know for peace of mind (~5 min)
Within 15 minutes by car:
• Downtown Hollywood / Harrison Street — the heart of the city's restaurant and bar scene: Thanks To Harrison, The Tipsy Boar, dozens of cafés and patios, ArtsPark, live music on weekends
• Hollywood Beach Broadwalk — the 2.5-mile oceanfront promenade with restaurants, beach bars, bike rentals, and some of Florida's most walkable sand
• Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) — convenient for incoming and outgoing travelers
Within 30 minutes by car:
• Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale — upscale shopping and dining
• Aventura Mall — one of the largest luxury malls in the U.S.
• Port Everglades — cruise terminals for Royal Caribbean, Princess, Celebrity, and others

Getting around. South Florida is a driving city — most guests rent a car at FLL for the easiest experience. Rideshare (Uber, Lyft) is widely available and a great option for nights at the Guitar Hotel or Hollywood Beach when you'd rather not park or drive. The property has free off-street parking for two vehicles.
Grocery and essentials. A Publix, a Winn-Dixie, and several smaller markets are all within 5-10 minutes. We'll point you to the closest options in your welcome guide.

House rules

A few things to know to keep your stay smooth and the home great for the next guest:
Maximum occupancy: 6 guests. This is a strict limit. The home is licensed by the City of Hollywood with a posted occupancy cap, and additional guests cannot be added day-of. Please include all guests, including children and infants, in your booking count.
No parties, events, or gatherings.

In line with Airbnb's global policy, no parties of any kind are permitted. This includes bachelor / bachelorette events, birthday parties, or any gathering of non-registered guests. We screen carefully and verify at check-in.

Noise monitoring. This property uses Minut — a privacy-safe noise level monitor that measures sound decibels only. It does not record audio or video. The device alerts our team to noise that exceeds neighborhood-friendly levels, especially during quiet hours (10 PM – 8 AM). Repeated alerts may result in early termination of the stay without refund, per City of Hollywood ordinance.
Pool use.
The pool is for the exclusive use of registered guests, at their own risk. No lifeguard is on duty. Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times. No glass in the pool area, no diving in shallow areas, and please keep pool gates closed.

Smoke-free property. Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside the home and on the covered patio. A $250 cleaning fee applies if smoking is detected indoors. You may smoke outside on the open driveway or yard, away from doors and windows.
No pets. This is a pet-free property to protect guests with allergies. Service animals as defined by the ADA are welcome — please mention in advance.
Sex offender registry screening (Hollywood VRL §119.39). This property is licensed by the City of Hollywood and is located within 1,000 feet of a place where children regularly congregate (school, daycare, park, playground, or similar facility). Under Hollywood Code of Ordinances §119.39, this property cannot be rented to or occupied by any person convicted of a violation of Florida Statutes §§ 794.011, 800.04, 827.071, or 847.0145 (or an equivalent sex offense in any other state, federal court, or military tribunal) in which the victim was under 16 years of age — regardless of whether adjudication was withheld. All registered occupants are subject to background screening prior to check-in. Bookings made in violation of this rule will be canceled without refund and reported to the City of Hollywood.
Parking. Off-street parking is available in the driveway for up to two vehicles.
Quiet hours: 10 PM – 8 AM. Per City of Hollywood ordinance, please keep outdoor noise (pool area, patio, music) to a respectful level during these hours. Amplified sound and loud music are not permitted on the property at any time.
Respect for neighbors. Please do not block neighboring driveways or pedestrian access. Friendly relationships with neighbors keep this listing live and your stay great.
Trash & recycling. Bins are in the side yard. Please bag all kitchen trash and place bins curbside on collection day if your stay overlaps — we'll let you know if so.
Damage & accidents. Things happen — we appreciate a heads-up. Please report any breakage, spills, or issues by message so we can address them.
Check-out (11 AM). Please start the dishwasher, take any trash to the outdoor bins, and lock the front door behind you. The smart lock will reset automatically.

The basics. Treat the home as you would your own. Be considerate of neighbors. Enjoy the pool, enjoy the city, and let us know if you need anything.

Guest access

Guest Access
Guests have full, private access to the entire 3-bedroom main house and its outdoor spaces — including the living room, kitchen, dining area, all three bedrooms, both bathrooms, the patio, and the private pool. The home is yours alone for the duration of your stay.
About the property layout. Villa Coral sits on a residential lot that also includes a small, self-contained in-law apartment with its own separate entrance and outdoor area. The in-law unit is fully independent — its own front door, its own driveway access, its own outdoor space — and is not part of your booking.
The connecting door. For full transparency: there is one interior door inside the main house that historically connected to the in-law apartment. This door is locked from both sides — by you from inside the main house, and by the in-law occupant from their side. It is not used during guest stays, and you control the lock on your side throughout your stay. The door exists only because the property was originally built as a single family home; the lock arrangement is permanent.
What this means for your stay. You may occasionally see or briefly cross paths with the in-law unit's resident in the shared driveway area — much like having a neighbor in a duplex — but the two living spaces are otherwise completely separate. The pool, patio, and the entirety of the main home are reserved exclusively for your group.
We've set up the property so that guests in the main house enjoy full privacy and the feel of a true private home rental, while the in-law unit operates independently in the background.

Interaction with guests

Villa Coral is professionally managed by IHost by Cielo Stays, a Hollywood-based property management team licensed by the State of Florida. You'll have your own space, your own keys, and full privacy from the moment you check in — but we're never more than a message away when you need us.
Before you arrive, you'll receive your check-in details, parking info, Wi-Fi, and a short welcome guide a few days ahead of your stay. At check-in, entry is fully self-service through a smart lock — no key handoffs, no waiting on anyone. During your stay, our team is available through Airbnb messages for anything from a quick question to an issue that needs attention. We respond promptly and we're happy to help.
We respect your privacy, so you won't see us unless you ask. But if you'd like recommendations for restaurants, the casino, the beach, or anything else nearby, just message — we live here too, and we love a good local tip.

Other things to note

A few honest things to know before you book:
This is a real residential neighborhood. Villa Coral is a single-family home on a quiet, lived-in street in central Hollywood. Expect normal neighborhood sounds — neighbors coming and going, occasional lawn equipment during the day, and the activity of a nearby school and place of worship. You'll also enjoy what makes this neighborhood good: shaded streets, friendly neighbors, and the kind of quiet most Hollywood condos can't offer.

Outdoor security cameras. For the safety of guests and the property, there are exterior security cameras at the front entrance / driveway and in the pool area. They cover outdoor common areas only. There are no cameras inside the home, in the bedrooms, in the bathrooms, or in any private space. Locations and coverage are fully disclosed per Airbnb policy.

Background screening — please read before booking. Per City of Hollywood Vacation Rental Ordinance §119.39, this property cannot be rented to or occupied by any person convicted of a violation of Florida Statutes §§ 794.011, 800.04, 827.071, or 847.0145 (or equivalent sex offense in any other state, federal court, or military tribunal) in which the victim was under 16 years of age. All registered occupants are subject to a brief background screening before check-in, and the lead guest's full legal name is verified at booking. If a booking is found to be in violation of this ordinance, the reservation will be canceled without refund and reported to the City of Hollywood. Please do not book if this applies to you or any member of your party — it protects everyone's time.

South Florida weather. Summer months (June – October) are hot, humid, and bring frequent afternoon thunderstorms — usually short, sometimes intense. Hurricane season runs June 1 through November 30. We monitor weather closely and will reach out if any tropical system may impact your stay.

Pool experience. The pool is great year-round but not heated, so winter temperatures (December – February) can be cooler than expected. Pool service is scheduled weekly; you may see our technician briefly during your stay — they will not enter the home.

Bug life. This is Florida. Even in well-maintained homes, you may occasionally see small lizards (they're harmless and helpful), ants, or palmetto bugs — especially after heavy rain. We treat the property regularly. Please keep doors closed and trash sealed.

Wi-Fi & streaming. Fast Wi-Fi is included throughout the home. Smart TVs are set up for guests to log into their own streaming accounts (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, etc.) — please remember to log out before checkout.

Cleaning & supplies. The home is professionally cleaned before every stay. We provide starter quantities of bath essentials, paper goods, dish soap, and laundry detergent — enough for the first few days. For longer stays, plan to restock from the nearby grocery store (we'll point you to the closest one in your welcome guide).

Cars only. This is a residential street with limited turning radius. Standard cars, SUVs, and small trucks fit in the driveway. Oversized vehicles (RVs, large trailers, work trucks) cannot be accommodated.
Communication. We're a property management team — not a single owner — which means you'll get faster responses, more reliable check-in, and 7-day-a-week support.
